On November 17, 2020 the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication of Thammasat University held the second iteration of its annual Digital Strategies of Tomorrow event. The event features keynotes and a town hall discussion with leading minds from within the industry.
The 2020 edition feature a pretty stacked line-up that saw K. Topp, the CEO and co-founder of Bitkub.com open the event. He was followed by K. Orathai of Ogilvy & Mather. Two completely different keynotes, yet both very topical and inspirational with great insights alike.
The final touch of the event came in the form of an interactive town hall discussion that saw the two previous speakers being joined by the CMO of L’Oreal Thailand, K. Yada. The three main protagonists were flanked by the moderators Sascha H. Funk (who also organized the event and lectures at Thammasat University) and Christian Huller (Chiang Mai University / University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg, Germany). The questions asked by the audience both in attendance and on the screen were pretty to the point and lead to a very interesting back and forth between all speakers on stage with some very unique view points for the audience to consider.
Overall this event was rather interesting and showed that Thailand has lots of fantastic and forward thinking minds that are trying to shape the future of digital strategies.
